Welcome to the memorial page for

Stewart O'Shea Arnold Jr.

February 16, 1967 ~ June 26, 2018 (age 51)

Stewart O’Shea Arnold, Jr. of Fuquay-Varina, NC entered into his heavenly reward on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
Stewart is the son of (Michael) Mickie Arnold and the late O’Shea Arnold, Sr. of the Baptist Grove community of Fuquay-Varina.  He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Zachary Stewart Arnold and partner, Jessica Rhoades of Erwin and one daughter, Madison Bailey Arnold of Holly Springs.  Stewart was also the proud grandpa of Zachary Tyler Arnold and Landon Michael Arnold.

In addition, Stewart is survived by two sisters, Michaela Dawn Baker and husband J.G. Baker of Holly Springs, April Arnold Johnson and husband, Brian Johnson of Benson; one brother, Barkley Shea Arnold and wife, Robin of Fuquay-Varina, and God-sister Darlene Porter and husband David. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Stewart also leaves his special friend, Elizabeth Long of the Duncan community and very special aunts, Dantzlere Currin and husband Glenn of Fuquay-Varina and Dixie Dean of Fuquay-Varina.  Additionally, special cousins Sid Baker of Reidsville and Paula Wall of Fuquay-Varina lost a dear cousin and friend.  Stewart is survived by five nieces, two nephews, one great-niece and five great-nephews.

Stewart graduated from Harnett Central High School and continued his studies at Wake Technical Community College.  He worked for many years with his Daddy at Mid South Mechanical in Raleigh in HVAC. He continued his career in HVAC with other companies until he became disabled.
A service of remembrance and celebration will take place on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Williford Funeral Home in Fuquay-Varina, NC, preceded by a visitation with family and friends beginning at 12:00 Noon.  Rev. Paul Jones of Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church will be leading the service along with Chaplain Robbie O’Quinn of Community Hospice and Homecare of Lillington.

Stewart will be remembered for his keen wit and sense of humor, as well as his uncanny ability to make you laugh when you were feeling low.  We are reminded in Romans 8:38-39,  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The family of Stewart would like to greatly thank the caregivers and staff of Community Homecare and Hospice of Lillington. Flowers are welcomed or gifts may be donated to Community Homecare and Hospice, 1231 Main St. Lillington, NC 27546.
