James "Jim" Sullivan of Holly Springs, North Carolina, 73, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed away on March 29, 2018, at Rex Medical Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Mr. Sullivan was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Frank and Mary Sullivan on April 11, 1945. He relocated to New Jersey and lived there until he and his wife moved to Greenville, North Carolina in 1984. Mr. Sullivan and his wife owned a business, Sub Station II in Greenville, North Carolina, from 1984 until 1996. He also worked for Walmart and Big Lots both for a number of years. Over the years he enjoyed bowling, woodworking, working on cars, renovating homes, music and history. He was always ready to lend a hand and help his family, friends and even strangers in any way he could. He had a generous and caring heart and a great sense of humor.
Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol Sullivan, his children, Dawn Sullivan, Kelley Sullivan, Kenneth Sullivan and wife Samantha Sullivan (son James, deceased), his grandchildren, Jill Sullivan Osborne and husband Tom Osborne, Cheyenne Noel Ipock, Lucas Sullivan, Elliott Sullivan, great grandchildren, Eva Osborne and Samson Osborne, brother Stephen Sullivan and his wife Joan Sullivan, sister Kathleen Medal and husband Robert Medal, nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Bailey.
