Diane Louise Invernizzi, 68, of Holly Springs, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Monday, October 29, 2018, at Transitions Hospice Center surrounded by her loved ones. Diane was the wife of the late Michael Invernizzi together for over 25 years. She was born in Woonsocket, RI to the late Ruth (Reid) Leake and Willis Hadley. Diane was a loving mother survived by her sons, David Nolan and Kevin Nolan (Amanda); daughters, Tracey McCarthy (Kevin), Christine Duffy (Timothy), Amanda Koch, and Angela Stuckey (Chris). She was the cherished grandmother to her 11 grandchildren; Joshua, Kelsey, James, Chris, Madison, Katelyn, Christopher, Alexandra, Diana, Elijah and Tyler, and 2 great grandchildren; Marcus and Mason. She is also survived by her loving siblings; Dicky, Donna, Jimmy, Billy, Danny, Carol, Linda and Ruthie. Diane worked most of her adult life in the accounting industry while raising her 6 children and worked as a day care provider. She was most passionate about her family and having family gatherings at her home for Christmas and Easter. She also loved dogs, cooking and traveling with family. Diane was a big Red Sox fan. Even in her final moments of life, she predicted the 2018 Red Sox to win in game 5!
A funeral service will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10:00am at Rachels Family Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Wake Chapel Church Cemetery located in Fuquay-Varina, NC.
